Amazon PPC Management Services Built Around Profit, Not Just Sales
By Zubair M · Last updated October 2026
THE WE ONE manages Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns for Amazon sellers and brands — with weekly search-term harvesting, disciplined negative keywords, and placement-level bid control that lowers ACoS and TACoS. And because we also handle your listing SEO, A+ Content, and catalog, the traffic we buy actually converts.
What Is Amazon PPC Management?
Amazon PPC management is the ongoing work of building, running, and optimizing paid campaigns inside Amazon's ad auction — Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display — so that ad spend produces profitable sales and stronger organic rank, not just clicks. "Running ads" and "managing ads" are different jobs: one burns budget, the other builds a compounding growth engine.
Keyword & Search Term Research
Finding the terms shoppers actually use to find and buy products like yours — then checking that data weekly, not once at launch.
Bid Management
Adjusting what you pay per click by keyword, match type, placement, and time of day — every decision traced back to a target ACoS.
Negative Keyword Control
Actively blocking spend on searches that don't convert. The single highest-leverage profit lever most sellers underuse.
Budget Allocation
Deciding how much of your total budget each campaign and funnel stage gets — and shifting it as performance changes.
Reporting & Optimization
Reading ACoS, TACoS, ROAS, and conversion data on a defined cadence and rebuilding campaigns around what the data shows.
The Cost of Ignoring It
Unmanaged campaigns run on Amazon's defaults — broad match, flat bids, no negatives. Those defaults are tuned for Amazon's revenue, not your margin.
Why Amazon PPC Becomes Difficult to Manage
Most accounts we take over aren't broken — they're just unmanaged. If two or three of these sound like your Seller Central, the problem isn't your product. It's the structure underneath your campaigns.
ACoS Keeps Climbing
Your ad costs rise every quarter, but revenue doesn't follow. You're paying more for the same sale — or a worse one.
Wasted Spend You Can't See
Broad match and auto campaigns quietly burn budget on irrelevant searches nobody ever negative-matched.
One Campaign Doing Five Jobs
Match types, keyword intents, and targeting methods share a single budget pool, so you can't tell what's actually working.
Optimization Eats Your Week
Search term reports, bid tweaks, budget checks — doing this properly is a full-time role, and you already have one of those.
TACoS Flat or Rising
Ad spend grows faster than total revenue. Your ads are buying sales, not building the organic rank that reduces ad dependence.
Budgets Run Out Early
Profitable campaigns hit their daily cap by midday while weak ones spend freely — a budget allocation problem, not a bidding problem.
These are system-level problems, and they respond to system-level management. That's what our free Profit Leak Audit is built to find.
How the Amazon Ad Auction Actually Works
Every time a shopper searches, Amazon runs a real-time auction among sellers targeting that term. Three things decide who wins the placement:
Bid
The maximum you're willing to pay per click.
Relevance
How well your listing matches the search term — driven by title, bullets, backend keywords, and conversion history on that term.
Placement
Top-of-search, rest-of-search, and product pages each carry separate competition and bid multipliers (adjustable from −99% to +900%).
A high bid with poor relevance loses to a lower bid with strong relevance. That's why listing quality and ad strategy are inseparable — a cleaner, more relevant listing lowers your effective cost per click before you ever touch a bid. It's also why we manage PPC and listing optimization as one system, not two vendors.
The 2026 Changes You Didn't Opt Into
Amazon has changed more in the last 18 months than in the previous five years — and three of the biggest shifts arrived automatically. None of them show up as a campaign-level problem in standard reporting. You have to look at the account level, or you'll spend 2026 optimizing against changes you never approved.
AI Prompts Became Billable
Since March 2026, Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands AI prompts are charged under your existing CPC bidding. Enrollment is automatic — campaigns that were pacing cleanly may now absorb incremental spend you never budgeted for.
Alexa for Shopping Replaced Rufus
Amazon's conversational shopping assistant now answers shoppers in full sentences — no keyword typed. Your ads compete in a surface where relevance depends on whether your detail page answers the question, not whether your bid cleared an auction.
Titles Cut to 75 Characters
Amazon's title limit dropped from 200 to 75 characters (media excluded), with a new 125-character Item Highlights field carrying the overflow. Roughly 125 characters of keyword coverage just came out of the most heavily weighted field in your listing — including the one your ad relevance is scored against.
On top of that, the Sponsored Ads and DSP consoles merged into a single Unified Campaign Manager with 15 months of daily history — and attribution models shifted on January 1, 2026, meaning last year's ACoS benchmarks aren't directly comparable to this year's. Every takeover we run now starts with an account-level audit against these changes, before a single bid is touched.
The Campaign Architecture We Build
Most accounts we take over have one problem in common: one campaign doing five jobs, and nobody can say which keyword is actually paying the bills. We rebuild every account around this structure:
| Campaign Type | Primary Job | Typical Budget Share |
|---|---|---|
| Sponsored Products (SP) | Convert shoppers already searching | 60–70% |
| Sponsored Brands (SB) | Own top-of-search visibility and brand recall | 20–30% |
| Sponsored Display (SD) | Re-engage shoppers who viewed but didn't buy | 10–15% |
Keyword harvesting, done weekly: we pull the search term report, flag terms with strong click volume and above-average conversion, promote them into exact-match campaigns, and immediately negative-match the same term in the auto/broad campaign it came from — so you never bid against yourself. How We Optimize Amazon PPC for Profitability
A campaign with more sales isn't automatically a better campaign. Every decision we make traces back to one chain:
Traffic → Clicks → Conversion → Ad Spend → ACoS → TACoS → Profit
Start With Break-Even ACoS
Your break-even ACoS is your profit margin per unit. Your target ACoS sits below that, leaving room for profit after ad cost. A 30% ACoS on a 40% margin product is profitable — the same 30% on a 20% margin product loses money. There is no universal "good ACoS," and we don't pretend there is.
From target ACoS, we back into a maximum CPC: target ACoS × conversion rate × selling price. At a 25% target ACoS, a $40 product, and a 10% conversion rate, the math produces a $1.00 maximum cost per click. Bids above that level erode margin. Bids below it leave sales and ranking velocity on the table.
Then Watch TACoS, Not Just ACoS
ACoS measures a campaign in isolation. TACoS — ad spend divided by total revenue — tells you whether advertising is building your business. Amazon's algorithm treats conversions as a ranking signal: every sponsored sale strengthens the organic position that reduces your future ad dependence.
A TACoS that trends down while revenue grows is the flywheel working. A TACoS that stays flat or rises as you scale means your ads are renting revenue, not building equity. We manage toward the second outcome — and we report both metrics so you can see it.
Harvest What Converts
Weekly search-term mining promotes proven converters into exact match with tighter bids.
Negate What Doesn't
Every wasted click is negated at campaign or ad group level — with account-level negatives for terms that are irrelevant everywhere.
Reallocate Toward Margin
Budget shifts from bloated discovery campaigns into proven winners, and placements get multipliers only where conversion data justifies them.
Metrics That Matter — and How We Calculate Them
Early on, we watch ACoS to judge campaign efficiency. As organic sales grow, TACoS becomes the better health metric — a brand with strong organic pull might run PPC at 8–12% of total revenue instead of the 25%+ it needed at launch. If your CTR is strong but CVR is weak, no bid change will fix it — the listing has to convert, which is exactly why our PPC work sits alongside Amazon SEO and conversion-focused creative.
The Optimization Cadence Your Account Runs On
Amazon PPC management is not a one-time setup. The accounts that win run consistent loops on a defined schedule — here's ours.
Budget pacing checks, CPC spike flags, and inventory confirmation on heavily advertised ASINs. Ads pause the moment a product goes out of stock — spending on products you can't ship hurts both efficiency and organic rank.
Search term report review: harvest converters into exact match, negative-match the waste, adjust bids on terms that drifted outside target ACoS, and review placement performance for multiplier changes.
Campaign architecture review — ad groups that grew too large to optimize cleanly, campaigns that drifted from their original purpose, and ASIN-level performance to spot budget drains.
Strategic reset: ACoS targets recalibrated against current margins, discovery-to-efficiency budget splits rebalanced, keyword coverage compared against competitor positioning, and new ad formats evaluated for testing.
Ready for Amazon's AI Shopping Layer
With Alexa for Shopping now answering shoppers in full sentences and COSMO ranking by behavior rather than just keyword match, Amazon's AI systems weigh listing depth, review and Q&A content, fulfillment reliability, and account health before deciding what to surface. Thin listings get skipped by shoppers and models alike.
AI-Aware Content
Clear, extractable bullet points and structured content that hold up when shoppers ask Amazon's assistant direct questions — and when AI writes responses from your detail page.
Review & Q&A Depth
Genuine review and Q&A coverage that AI systems cite. It's also conversion fuel — and conversion data from well-run PPC feeds Amazon's ranking signals.
Structured A+ Content
A+ Content and brand story built for both scanners and models — because the same fields that convert shoppers now train how Amazon describes your product.
We structure campaigns, bullet points, A+ Content, and Q&A together so they perform whether a shopper is scanning results or asking Alexa a direct question. Related: How to Get Found on Amazon AI Search →

What You Actually Receive Every Month
"Full-service management" means different things at different agencies. Here's exactly what's included when you work with us.
Three Ways to Run Your PPC — Only One Is Built for Profit
| DIY / In-House | Typical PPC Agency | THE WE ONE | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Focus | Keeping campaigns alive | Ad spend & clicks | ACoS, TACoS & margin |
| Review cadence | When time allows | Monthly | Daily checks, weekly harvest, quarterly resets |
| 2026 readiness | Rarely audited | Reactive | Account-level audit against prompts, AI search & title changes |
| Scope | Ads only | Ads only | PPC + listing SEO, A+ Content, catalog structure |
| Pricing | Your time (a full-time role) | Hidden fees, long lock-ins | Flat fee or % of ad spend, no lock-in |
| Who touches your account | You, at midnight | Rotating juniors | 100+ dedicated Amazon specialists |
The honest math: professional management typically costs 10–15% of ad spend, while the wasted spend it recovers usually runs 20–30%. If your account spends enough that those percentages matter, the audit will show you the gap.
Who Our Amazon PPC Management Is For — and Who It Isn't
We're selective because a bad-fit engagement wastes your budget and our time. Here's an honest picture.
A Strong Fit If You Are…
- A private-label brand, DTC brand on Amazon, or established Amazon seller doing 10K–500K+ per month
- Spending meaningfully on Amazon Ads with rising ACoS or TACoS
- Launching new products and need controlled velocity without burning margin
- A founder or team whose time is worth more than manual bid tweaking
- An agency that needs reliable Amazon PPC execution for your clients
- A brand whose campaigns have outgrown the "one campaign per product" setup
Probably Not (Yet) If…
- You have one product, minimal ad spend, and time to learn — a DIY structure may serve you better right now
- Your listing isn't conversion-ready (we'll tell you in the audit, and fix it first if you want)
- You're looking for guaranteed ACoS numbers — no honest agency promises those, and we won't either
- You want weekly vanity reports instead of decisions you can act on
If any of the second list sounds like you, the free audit still tells you exactly where you stand — no obligation attached.
Amazon PPC Management for the US and UK — Not a Copy-Paste
We manage campaigns across both marketplaces daily, and the differences matter more than most sellers expect.
🇺🇸 Amazon PPC Management USA
The most competitive advertising marketplace on earth. CPCs are higher, auction density is heavier, and the new AI surfaces — Alexa for Shopping and billable Sponsored prompts — rolled out here first. Winning in the US requires tighter placement control, faster negative-keyword discipline, and listings built to convert expensive clicks.
🇬🇧 Amazon PPC Management UK
Lower CPCs but different search behavior — British shoppers phrase searches differently, category demand shifts, and competition clusters differently by niche. UK campaigns need their own keyword research, budgets, and structure, not US settings with a currency conversion. We build each marketplace from its own data.
Selling in both? We coordinate strategy across marketplaces while keeping campaigns, budgets, and reporting separate per region — so you can see exactly what each pound and dollar returns.
